In the first programme in the series, Heather travels to Sligachan in central Skye. From Thomas Telford's beautiful stone bridge, she begins her journey west through the Minginish peninsula. She takes in the breathtaking view of the Cuillin Ridge as she walks with Danny Macleod to the Fairy Pools in Glen Brittle. On a beach in Eynort, she goes in search of the razor clam - a type of shellfish she hasn't seen before. And fisherman Calum MacKinnon helps her fulfil a long held ambition - to see a sea eagle at close range.
