Prey is one of those games that you might have heard about, but probably don't know much about more than the name and the fact that it's just been released. Bethesda have been very low key in marketing the game, and also didn't provide review copy to media in advance of the release date. As such, I wanted to give this the proper review treatment. There's so much that goes into understanding what Prey is and what its trying to achieve, so I spend some time providing that background in the first third of this review. Feel free to skip past it to 10:28 if you're only interested in the review itself. I've seen some truly terrible reviews of Prey already. Reviews that write it off as generic and borrowed- nothing could be further from the truth. I hope I've managed to convey the depth and intelligence that springs from almost every part of Prey.
