The events of the adventure drama "The Souvenir from Odessa" unfold during the 20th century. After the Bolshevik coup in 1917, Odessa experienced three years of a change of seven powers. While power in Odessa swiftly passes from hand to hand, and the influence of local criminals remains unchanged, two young lovers, Matvei and Lisa, try not to become pawns in the games of legendary historical figures such as Ataman Kotovsky and the robber king Mikhail Vinnitsky (Mishka Yaponchik ).
