《추적 60분》은 매주 수요일 밤 11시 10분에 KBS 2TV에서 방송되는 탐사보도 프로그램이다. 이후 생활 속의 문제를 집중 추적하는 교양과 오락성 등 두가지 소재를 가미한 시사 고발 프로그램으로 기획되어, 1983년 2월 27일에 첫방영되었다.[1] 대한민국에서 최초로 유일무이하게 탐사보도 방식을 도입한 프로그램이다. MBC와 SBS의 경쟁 프로그램인 《PD수첩》과 《그것이 알고싶다》처럼 사회적으로 충격적인 소재들을 다루었으며 관계자 일각에선, 인권 침해 등 선정적이라는 논란의 소지가 많아, 2017년도 방송분부터 '15세 이상 시청가' 표시 및 모방 위험 우려 등 분류 사유 표시를 의무화했다.
