Before J.J. Abrams took over the world of Star Wars with The Force Awakens and the Rise of Skywalker, he revived another classic sci-fi franchise with 2009’s Star Trek, a movie so filled with lens flares it was difficult to see. But from what people could make out, it seemed pretty good! Although the movie was a critical and financial success, it definitely raises a few questions. Like why didn’t Chris Hemsworth abandon ship if he was just setting it on a collision course? What was the point of the young Kirk scenes? How was Kirk qualified to be promoted?
