Amano Ai and Sho Tonai went out to eat out. When Ai wants new clothes, Omiya Rika, a junior in junior high school, talks to her at a clothing store. Rika is a child who was singing in the corner of the corridor at the time of the cultural festival, and Sho is surprised that Sho is more cute than her memory. I envy the human sense of "nostalgia" like that. At that time, Nanami Shibahara, who was going out with Tomoaki Furuya, was in love with Chisho, which is mainly anime production, in everything. On the other hand, Tomoaki makes a promise to Shimizu Koji, an anime producer who has also made a hit, to see their own scenario. But in the face of professional harsh opinions, Chisho is at a loss for words. Since there is no time until the deadline, we have to work on the anime competition, but Tomoaki, who is upset, fights with Nanami and Sho.
外食しに出かけた天野アイ（西野七瀬）と弄内翔（野村周平）。新しい服が欲しいというアイは、洋服店で様々な服を試着していると、そこに中学時代の後輩・大宮リカ（大友花恋）が話しかけてくる。リカは、文化祭の時に廊下の隅で歌っていた子で、翔は記憶より可愛くなっていることに驚く。アイはそんな“懐かしい”という、人間ならではの感覚を羨ましく思う。 その頃、古矢智章（清水尋也）と付き合うことになった柴原奈々美（飯豊まりえ）は、全てにおいてアニメ制作中心の智章にヤキモキしていた。
一方、智章は、かつてヒット作も出したアニメプロデューサーの清水浩司（村上淳）に、自分たちのシナリオを見てもらう約束を取りつける。しかし、プロの厳しい意見を前に、智章は言葉を失う。締め切りまで時間がないため、アニメコンクールに向けて作業を進めないといけないが、動揺している智章は、奈々美や翔らと大喧嘩をしてしまう…。
