In a Christmas special first broadcast in 1982, Cockney music duo Chas Hodges and Dave Peacock entertain an audience of Londoners in a replica of an East End pub, performing festive tunes as well as songs including Ain't No Pleasing You, Goodnight Irene and Wish I Could Write a Love Song. They are joined by guitarists Eric Clapton and Albert Lee, comedians Jimmy Cricket and Jim Davidson and singer Lennie Peters.
