Grammy winner Patti LaBelle is best known for her music, with a career that has spanned more than 50 years, but when she's not in the recording studio or on stage, she likes to share her passion for cooking. She opens the doors to her kitchen in this series to offer a look at her culinary ability. Celebrity guests -- including singer Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and TV host Gayle King -- stop by to enjoy some of the dishes LaBelle prepares. The guests sometimes assist LaBelle with preparing the food. The dishes range from comfort foods like beef short ribs to a peach cobbler dessert.
