樅ノ木は残った

江戸前期、仙台藩で起きた伊達（だて）騒動を、独自の新解釈でつづった山本周五郎の同名小説をドラマ化。命を懸けてこのお家騒動から、伊達６２万石の安泰を図った仙台藩家老・原田甲斐（かい）の生涯を描く。演出は吉田直哉ほか、脚本は茂木草介。主演は平幹二朗、相手役の吉永小百合と栗原小巻が対照的な２人の女性像を演じ、男性ファンの人気を二分した。
