Season 1

 The Pit (Ç​ukur), that İdris Koçovalı has built with his own hands, is the heart of İstanbul; in fact it is Istanbul! There's no room for any danger that could threaten the neighborhood. Yamaç is a daytime chemist and a nighttime musician who has ran away from this neighborhood years ago for some reason. The young man's life changes as their paths cross with Sena who is a feisty personality like himself. While the two of them are dragged into a passionate love affair; The Pit is on the verge of a storm with Vartolu's arrival. The same storm will drag Yamaç towards The Pit and his past that he has abandoned a long time ago. After all everybody will ultimately return to The Pit.

İdris Koçovalı’nın kendi elleriyle kurduğu Çukur, İstanbul’un kalbi, hatta ta kendisidir! Bu mahallede, yaşayanları tehdit edecek tehlikelere yer yoktur. Gündüzleri kimyager olarak çalışan, geceleri ise müzisyen kimliğiyle sahnenin tozunu attıran Yamaç, yıllar önce bir sebepten ötürü bu mahalleden kaçmıştır. Genç adamın hayatı, tıpkı kendisi gibi deli dolu bir karaktere sahip olan Sena ile yollarının kesişmesiyle tamamen değişir. İkili tutkulu bir aşkın içine sürüklenirken, Çukur ise Vartolu’nun gelişiyle yakında patlayacak bir fırtınanın eşiğine gelir. Bu fırtına, Yamaç’ı da Çukur’a ve uzun zaman önce terk ettiği geçmişine sürükleyecektir. Zaten eninde sonunda herkes bir gün Çukur’a geri dönecektir.
