在一次噩夢般的旅行中，主人公魏死死發現自己擁有一種近乎自殘的怪異能力：可以體驗死者生前經歷的事情。在陸續經歷了鋼琴擾民激情殺人、豪華遊輪沉船事件後，學會看清別人過去行兇的經歷。之後在營救妹妹皇甫蛆中，能力再次升級，可以以第三視角觀看整個殺人過程。就在此次營救的行動中，魏死死逐漸解開一個隱藏已久的驚天大秘密……
