社会と隔絶した山の中で、空手家に厳しく育てられた野生児・ケンイチは、15歳になったある日、自分が空手家の子ではなく、都会に住む国宝憲吉という人物の息子だと聞かされる。本当の家族を探すために都会にやってきた少年は、初めて見る物や人間社会の常識に驚き、次々とトラブルを起こしてしまう。 ようやく生き別れになった妹・雪絵や家族と再会し、中学にも編入できることになるものの、その日からケンイチの周りでは大騒ぎが絶え間なく続くことに……。 山奥でのサバイバル生活で常識破りの行動力と体力を身に着けていたケンイチは、都会での生活になじみ、ごく普通の少年として受け入れてもらえるのか！？
