The wilderness erodes both body and soul, and the remaining couples struggle to persevere. One of the finalists gets sluggish and has to stay in the sleeping bag while the partner tries to keep his spirits up. In another couple, the lack of food grows so much that they go on a rampage in the terrain in hopes of finding something other than fish. The question is; who can stand the distance and take from there as winners of Alone in the Wilderness?
Vildmarken tærer på både krop og sjæl, og de resterende par kæmper for at holde ud. En af finalisterne bliver sløj og må blive i soveposen, mens makkeren forsøger at holde humøret oppe. Hos et andet par vokser savnet til mad så meget, at de går på rov i terrænet i håb om at finde noget andet end fisk. Spørgsmålet er; hvem kan stå distancen og tage derfra som vindere af Alene i Vildmarken?
