사쿠라자키 스즈오는 시골에서 상경해 전문대를 다니는 평범한 청년. 불황에 아르바이트 자리를 찾지 못해 고민이던 어느날, 코스프레 소녀가 나타나 변신벨트 모니터링 요원을 권유한다. 궁한 김에 받아들인 이 변신벨트는 장난감이 아닌 진품으로, 은하연방경찰 차세대 파워드 슈트의 시제품이었다. 스즈오는 돗코이다(ドッコイダ)로 변신해 경쟁사의 시제품 넬로이드와 함께 지구를 침략하는 A급 우주범죄자에 맞서 싸우게 되는데…….
