The Confessions of Felix Krull

Schon als Kind kann Felix (Oliver Wehe; als Erwachsener: John Moulder-Brown), Sohn des Ehepaars Krull (Klaus Schwarzkopf und Daphne Wagner), lügen, dass sich die Balken biegen. Dieses Talent sichert ihm ein rasches Fortkommen im Berufsleben, das schon deshalb früher beginnt, weil es ihm gelingt, sich vor dem Militärdienst zu drücken. Vater Krull nimmt sich das Leben, und Onkel Schimmelpreester (Nikolaus Paryla) verschafft Felix einen Job als Liftboy in einem feinen Hotel in Monte Carlo, wo er stiehlt und bald Oberkellner wird. Währenddessen liegen Felix die Frauen, und vor allem die Frauen anderer Männer, reihenweise zu Füßen, darunter die Liebesdame Rosza (Despina Pajanou), die Fabrikantengattin Madame Houpflé (Magalie Noël), die Unterhaltungskünstlerin Zaza (Marie Colbin) und schließlich sowohl die Tochter Zouzou (Georgia Slowe) als auch die Gattin Pia (Vera Tschechowa) von Professor Kuckuck (Fernando Rey), dem Felix nach Lissabon ins Paläonthologische Museum folgt.
