Peter Voss (Wolf Roth) ist ein junger Schweizer Karikaturist. Kurz vor seiner Heirat mit der Industriellentochter Steffi Achermann (Mirjam Dreifuss) versucht er jedoch, den drohenden Bankrott seines Onkels zu verhindern, indem er angeblich dessen (in Wirklichkeit gar nicht vorhandene) Millionen stiehlt und flieht. Der Meisterdetektiv Bobby Dodd (Carlos Werner) nimmt die Verfolgung auf und jagt Voss um die Welt. Stationen der Flucht sind Hamburg, Holland, London, Peru, Hongkong, Bangkok, Nairobi, Rom, Venedig und Tokio. 13 teilige deutsche Serie von Peter Lodynski, frei nach dem Roman von E. G. Seeliger.
