Незнайка решил спрятаться в ракете и полететь запрещённо. Вместе с собой он берёт Пончика, которого не взяли на Луну из-за того, что он очень тяжёлый, и его якобы не поднимет ракета. В ракете они забираются в мешки с семенами и планируют поспать до утра. Когда Незнайка заснул, Пончик пытается выбраться из ракеты, но вместо этого запускает её, и они вдвоём с Незнайкой улетают на Луну.
Dunno decided to sneak aboard the rocket and go on the forbidden journey. He took Donut with him — who hadn’t been allowed on the lunar expedition because he was too heavy and supposedly the rocket wouldn’t lift off with him on board. Inside the rocket, they hid in sacks of seeds and planned to sleep until morning. While Dunno was asleep, Donut tried to get out of the rocket but accidentally launched it, sending both of them off to the Moon.
