L'action se déroule principalement au palais de justice de Paris. Le juge Nadia Lintz est chargée des affaires criminelles en étroite collaboration avec le commandant Gabriel Rovère. Les personnages de cette série sont inspirés du roman Les Orpailleurs de Thierry Jonquet.
