הסדרה עוסקת בניהולה של קבוצת כדורגל ובתככים שסביב זה. עינת (דניאלה וירצר) היא אשת עסקים נחשבת ומצליחה, ברוקרית במקצועה, יורשת את קבוצת הכדורגל של אביה שנפטר ומחליטה לסגור אותה. שחקני הקבוצה אינם רוצים שהקבוצה תיסגר ומחליטים לנסות למנוע זאת. דמות מרכזית נוספת בסדרה היא דמותו של אסי (סמי הורי), כדורגלן בן 35 העומד על סף פרישה. אסי שותף ליוזמת השחקנים למנוע את סגירת הקבוצה. הסדרה מתארת גם את יחסיהם של אסי ועינת. לעינת יש חבר בשם שחר (נבו קמחי), עורך דין מצליח בן 35 העובד עם עימה. עינת מתלבטת אם להכניס משקיע שימנע את הסגירה ושחר מתנגד לכך בגלל אסי ששכב פעם עם עינת.
