秀才愛上兵

良材縣之女 某年盛夏，風雨成災，陳忠不忍良材縣農民飽受天禍之苦，私自打開官倉，接濟農民。因而受朝廷責難，最後更充軍到塞外，患病而死，留下孤女陳細妹。 幸得祝清庭父親視妹如親女般照顧，儼如一家。而良材縣的農民也皆視妹如同己出，年長的婦人皆是阿妹的乾娘，年長的男人便是妹的乾爹。妹快樂地成長，也秉承亡父的俠義精神，成為一個熱血為人的女護農。 屢破奇案 謝皇上文采風流，機智聰穎，抱負做個好官，但其父謝蒼天卻是一個唯利是圖的米商，只是知子莫若父，蒼天深明其子性情，為了圓其心願，不惜投擲萬金捐官，讓其子成為農官。並找來機靈巧智；別名大老爺的戴從文作兒子的師爺，替其子排難解紛。
