تدور احداث العمل حول حياة الملكة نازلي بداية من زواجها من الملك فؤاد واختيار البريطانيين له ليحكم مصر، وكيف استخدمها كواجهة حضارية أثناء رحلته التاريخية إلي أوروبا عام 1972، وبعد إنجاب الملك فاروق للأميرة فريال تشعر الملكة نازلي بالقلق على ابنها والعرش وتتوالى الأحداث.
