Gholamreza Ghasemian

Among the hosts of the program Mahfel, Hojjat al-Islam Gholamreza Ghasemian stands out as a unique figure who brings together an extraordinary blend of academic knowledge, religious insight, and artistic expression. Born on March 26, 1973, into a large and religious family, he has walked an inspiring path throughout his life. Ghasemian’s life story is one of love for knowledge and spirituality. Raised in an environment where his father was a retired army officer and his brother was among the martyrs of the Iran–Iraq War, he developed a close relationship with the Quran from his elementary school years. This spiritual bond, along with his academic talents, shaped his life’s direction in a remarkable way. Graduating in civil engineering from Sharif University of Technology was only the beginning of a journey that he later enriched with seminary studies and teaching at top universities in the country, including Amirkabir, Iran University of Science and Technology, and Sharif University.
