Jack Leonard

One of the top male vocalists of the late 1930s, Jack Leonard was an American big band singer who recorded many songs with the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra. As a soloist he recorded more than 200 songs, he made three minor silver screen appearances in the late 1940s, had his own television program in 1949 and appeared as one of the hosts for Broadway Open House in 1951. Jack Leonard, together with trumpeter Joe Bauer and arranger Axel Stordahl, (known as Odd Stordahl) formed a vocal group named the Three Esquires.
