Matt Lopez is a film and television writer and producer. His most recent projects include the upcoming Warner Bros.’ “Father of the Bride,” a reboot of the classic film franchise; the family comedy “Alexander” for Disney+; and “Wraith,” a horror-thriller for Netflix. Lopez created and show-ran the television series “Gone.” Additional credits include the feature “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” produced by Jerry Bruckheimer; the sci-fi action/adventure “Race to Witch Mountain,” starring Dwayne Johnson; and the Walt Disney comedy “Bedtime Stories” starring Adam Sandler. Lopez came to writing and producing after a successful career as an attorney and business affairs executive for DreamWorks, where he worked on such features as “Gladiator,” “American Beauty” and “Saving Private Ryan.”
