Stacy Hinojosa

Prior to starting her own very successful gaming channel, Stacy worked in practically every business sector. She was a waitress, a golf course attendant and she even worked as an interviewer. She was based in Los Angeles and worked for entertainment publications and online platforms like JSYK.com, Cambio.com and Teen.com. During her career as an interviewer, Stacy has interacted with celebrities like Taylor Swift, Emma Watson, Justin Beiber, Kirsten Stewart, Will Smith, Nick Jonas and Will Smith. She met her best friend and fellow gamer, Joey Graceffa, while working at Teen.com and the duo started gaming together. Stacy started her YouTube Channel ‘stacyplays’, not to show off her crazy gaming skills, but to comment and critique her friend’s gaming. Stacy created her YouTube channel in 2013 just out of kicks but later decided to upload videos of her Minecraft games. Since she never intended to start a career on YouTube and be successful at it, she calls herself the ‘Accidental YouTuber’. But succeed she did and her channel currently has close to 2.5 million subscribers. Stacy has also collaborated with multimedia companies like Alloy Digital and Maker Studios to launch new games based on innovative and original concepts. Her most popular creation is the Dogcraft, a modded Minecraft Roleplay venture featuring on her channel every Wednesday and Saturday, which involves Stacy rescuing puppies in distress and building them beautiful dog-theme structures. The game is a single-player, survival mode type. Her other featured games are Cake Quest, Candy Isle, Bookcraft, and Mine Clash. She has also created her own brand of video games in 2015 called Minecraft: Story Mode - A Telltale Games Series and Wonder Quest where she has lent her voice to the games’ character. She also has a second channel called Stacyvlogs where she uploads personal vlogs every Monday outlining personal point of views, struggles and exciting news.
