Erika Katz

Erika Katz, a former child actress, was featured in three films: An uncredited role in the 1980 movie, Vestida para Matar (1980) (as the little girl who stares at Angie Dickinson in the elevator). Two years later, she starred in the 1979 sequel, Amityville 2: A Possessão (1982), with Burt Young and Rutanya Alda. Also, her brother Brent Katz, starred in the film, as well. Six years later, she had a minor role in Quero ser Grande (1988), with Tom Hanks. In addition, she appeared in TV commercials and several magazines. Now, a parenting and lifestyle expert, Erika Katz's latest book is Coach Parenting: Raising Teenagers with Advice From Pro Football's Greatest Head Coaches. Katz also authored the Bonding Over Beauty Parenting Book Series. Erika can be seen on "The Mom Jury" segment for the Today Show with Kathie Lee and Hoda. She is also a frequent guest of Access Hollywood, Fox News, Inside Edition, The Doctors, NBC News 4 New York, Fox 5 New York, CBS2 New York, PIX11 News, and Telemundo. She discusses parenting topics in the news, the impact of social media on teens, as well as lifestyle. She contributes to Seventeen, Parents, Good Housekeeping, Girl's Life, Shape, Prevention, and Parenting. Coach Parenting helps parents navigate the difficulties of raising teenage boys and girls by adapting NFL coaching techniques to family life.
