Francis Anthony Mossman was born on April 14, 1988, in Auckland, New Zealand to Maria Abad and Reginald Mossman. Francis has two younger brothers, Jeremy and Laurence Mossman (who is also a successful performer). Francis discovered his love of acting in high school productions. This led him to pursue a Bachelor of Arts, double-majoring in 'Drama' and 'Film, Television and Media Studies' at New Zealand's top university, The University of Auckland.
