Dorothee Rengeling is a journalist and also director and writer for docu-series. In 2016 she was the prize winner of the media award by the "Deutsche Sepsis-Gesellschaft" for her contribution "Blutvergiftung – Warum sie immer noch so gefährlich ist" (Faszination Wissen, BR, 18.01.2016).
