Bozo the Bear was born in 1960. She was an actress, known for The Legend of Black Thunder Mountain (1979) and The Life and Times of Grizzly Adams (1977). She died on January 8, 1999 in Lincoln, Nebraska, USA. She was born in Alaska's Katmai National Park, but abandoned by her parents at an older age. Employees from Juneau Animal Rescue found her afterwards. They subsequently sold Bozo to the Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus. She remained with that tour until her early teenage years. B
