Hélio Eichbauer

Hélio Eichbauer was a Brazilian set designer. Between 1962 and 1966, he studied with set designer Josef Svoboda, in Prague, Czechoslovakia, now the Czech Republic. In 1965, he completed some internships in European countries, such as Germany, France and Italy. During this period he took courses on the different segments of scenography such as lighting, carpentry, costumes, among others. In 1967 he worked in Cuba, at the Teatro Studio in Havana. Back in Brazil, he carried out work in various areas of Brazilian art, such as operas, theater and popular music shows.
