Hermínio Bello de Carvalho is a Brazilian composer, poet and music producer, as well as a cultural activist in the line of valuing the nationality of Mário de Andrade and Heitor Villa-Lobos. He was one of those responsible for the success of Clementina de Jesus, reuniting her with guitarist Turíbio Santos and making her the star of the musical "Rosa de Ouro". The musical debuted in 1965 and featured the grande dame of revue theater, Aracy Cortes, as well as other veterans and newcomers who constituted the later nucleus of samba resistance, from Paulinho da Viola and Elton Medeiros to Nelson Sargento and Jair do Cavaquinho. Poet, he released the books "Chove azul na teushair", "Aria and percussion" and "Poems of damned love". He also worked as a journalist and columnist at Revista da Música Popular, in O Pasquim, in Leitura.
