Elizabeth Jhin

Elizabeth Jhin, born Maria Elizabeth Biscaia, is a screenwriter, soap opera author and Brazilian writer of children's literature. Her surname Jhin came from her ex-husband, who was Chinese. Graduated in Theater from Uni-Rio, she was a student of the first Screenwriters Workshop on TV Globo, at the invitation of Flávio de Campos, her Theater History and Dramaturgy professor at college. After 13 years working as a collaborator in telenovelas, she made her debut in 2004 as the titular author, alongside Antônio Calmon, in Beginning de Novo.
