Lucas Ferrugem is one of the three main founding partners of Brasil Paralelo, having launched the company in 2016 in Porto Alegre, alongside Filipe Valerim and Henrique Viana. With a degree in Business Administration (ESPM), he is a key figure in the platform's strategic direction and production, in addition to serving as its CEO. Like the other founders, he was involved in writing and directing notable BP documentaries, including the hit "1964: Brazil Between Arms and Books." Ferrugem also works as a professor on the Brasil Paralelo platform, where he teaches classes on capitalism and political ideologies. The creation of the company, he says, was a reflection of a personal quest for maturity and intellectual development.
