Filipe Valerim

Filipe Valerim is one of the founding partners of the Brazilian production company and content platform Brasil Paralelo. A native of Florianópolis, Santa Catarina, he plays a key role in the company, serving as production director and screenwriter. His most notable work includes writing and directing over 20 documentaries, including the acclaimed "1964: Brazil Between Arms and Books," which became one of the most-watched documentaries in Brazilian history. In addition to his work at Brasil Paralelo, Filipe also has experience in screenwriting, having received a scholarship from Projeto Paradiso in 2023. Before founding BP, he was also involved in music, as evidenced by records from an old YouTube channel.
