Simon Sebag Montefiore

Simon Sebag Montefiore (born 1965, London) is a British writer, journalist, and historian with a doctorate from the University of Cambridge. He is an authority on Russian history, known for his award-winning bestsellers such as Stalin: The Court of the Red Tsar and The Romanovs. Montefiore was interviewed for the History of Communism series and is one of the leading experts on the Soviet regime in the series.
