Henry Bennion Eyring is an American educational administrator, author, and religious leader. Eyring served as president of Ricks College from 1971 to 1977. Eyring was sustained to the church's Quorum of the Twelve Apostles on April 1, 1995. As a member of the Quorum of the Twelve, Eyring was accepted by the church as a prophet, seer, and revelator. In 2014, meet with Pope Francis. It was the first time that a pope and a top LDS general authority ever met.
