Emilia Carranza

Emilia Carranza is a leading Mexican film and television actress who began her career at the end of the Golden Age of Mexican cinema. She began her acting career in 1958 in the movie Pepito y los robachicos. He then made his debut on television in the telenovela Encadenada in 1962. Since then he has appeared in more than twenty telenovelas, among many others: La gata, El maleficio, Love never dies, Black and white, The devil's smile, Crystal Empire , The price of your love and Loving you is my sin. She has also participated in twelve episodes of Mujer, real life cases and in the Central de Abasto series. In the cinema he took part in films such as The children of divorce, Santo vs. the wolves, the fugitive and the viper. In 2007 Emilia took over as director of ANDI (National Association of Interpreters) replacing Humberto Zurita. Emilia took over on behalf of La Planilla Verde, the name of the group made up of the actress and prominent actors such as Rafael Inclán, Arturo Beristáin and Ismael Larumbe, among others. Her last job was in the soap opera Zacatillo, a place in your heart in the antagonistic role of Martha. He also had special appearances on the program "Como dice el dicho".
