Czech theatre actor and former football player. He graduated at JAMU in Brno between 2003 and 2008, and has been a regular guest at theatres such as Divadlo U Stolu and HaDivadlo since 2005. At the turn of 2005 and 2006 he became a new member of the Buranteatr theatre ensemble together with Jaroslav Matějka. Since 1 May 2008 he has been a member of the drama ensemble of the Brno City Theatre. He also played one of the main roles in the series Most!. Michal Isteník himself used to play football for SK Kladno.
