Country music singer Porter Wagoner was known as Mr. Grand Ole Opry, and charted 81 singles from 1954 to 1983. Porter and duet partner Dolly Parton had many hits from 1967-1974. Porter Wagoner was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2002.
