Al Freeman, Jr.

Albert Cornelius Freeman Jr. was the first African American to win a Daytime Emmy Award for his role of Police Captain Ed Hall in One Life to Live. He is also known for his roles in Roots: The Next Generations, the miniseries King and in Spike Lee's film Malcolm X
