Ron O'Neal is best known for his iconic role as Youngblood Priest in the 1972 crime drama Super Fly. Unfortunately, this role received both praise and criticism, then political backlash and controversy as a 'blaxploitation' film. His credits include Freedom Road (1979), Red Dawn (1984), Up Against the Wall (1991), and appearances on series including A Different World, The Equalizer, Hill Street Blues and Bring 'Em Back Alive.
