Jeanne Laverne Carmen had a natural talent for the game of golf and made money hustling on the links in Las Vegas. In the early 1950s she relocated to Hollywood, where she was often in the company of some of that town's most notable swingers, men like Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra, and also maintained a close relationship with Marilyn Monroe. Jeanne Carmen never made it into the 'big' movies but appeared in many "B" pictures, and was quite an item at the celebrity parties.
