Anthony Steel

Anthony Maitland Steel was primarily known in Britain for his man 'matinée idol' roles. His big break came when cast as a POW in The Wooden Horse (1950), based on the true story of British soldiers who escaped Stalag Luft III in the war by using a vaulting horse. Steel played one of the three leads
