Mary Jackson

Mary Jackson was known best as Miss Emily Baldwin on The Waltons. She worked primarily on TV through the 1950s and 60s, appearing in shows including Alfred Hitchcock Presents, My Three Sons, The Andy Griffith Show, Twilight Zone and Barnaby Jones. In the 1970s, she performed in feature films, including the roles as Jane Fonda's mother in Fun with Dick and Jane, a nun in the first Airport movie and roles in Blume in Love and Coming Home. Although suffering from Parkinson's disease, she continued to work until a stroke in 1997 made speech very difficult.
