松本清張の名作小説を、後藤久美子と武井咲のW主演でドラマ化。顔を出さないことを条件に音楽活動をする覆面アーティスト・井野聖良(武井)には、殺人を犯した過去があった。一方、殺人の現場から立ち去る聖良を唯一目撃していた人権派の弁護士・石岡弓子(後藤)は、ある出来事をきっかけに聖良と再会する。
