Sixteen-year-old Lynda Mansell lives in a small English seaside town in the early 1950s. She is feisty, outspoken and foul-mouthed. To the outside world, Lynda is seemingly rebellious , but she is also reeling from the death of her mother, and her father is proving to be woefully ineffective in guiding her. After causing a scandal within her small community, can she be redeemed?
