Der Film ist ein Porträt der Dortmunder Südtribüne, das während des Fußballspiels gegen Mainz am 20. April 2013, also an einem einzigen Tag, mit einem 50-köpfigen Team und 16 Kameras gedreht wurde. Der Film lebt von den Protagonisten, die während der gesamten Zeit ihres Aufenthalts auf der Tribüne von der Kamera beobachtet wurden. Der sportliche Verlauf auf dem Platz spielte dabei nur insofern ein Rolle, als er die Choreografie und Dramaturgie auf der Tribüne provozierte. Der 90minütige Film kommt ohne jegliche Spielszene auf dem Fußballplatz aus.
