Als het Grote Boek van Sinterklaas wordt gestolen, moet hij zijn grote rivaal de Kerstman om hulp vragen. De kerstman lacht hem uit: het sinterklaasfeest was alweer voorbij. Als het boek van de Kerstman ook verdwijnt, bundelen ze hun krachten. Samen gaan ze op onderzoek uit, maar dat gaat helemaal niet soepel.
