Vampire in Brooklyn

En un barco espectral, que arriba a medianoche al puerto de Brooklyn, se hallan varios cadáveres y un sarcófago, en el que viaja Maximilliam, un vampiro que se dirige a Nueva York. Max, a la vez distinguido y terrorífico, busca una compañera, y encuentra a Rita, una excelente policía que ignora su terrible pasado. La chica se encuentra entonces ante un dilema: elegir una vida eterna de poderes sobrenaturales y riquezas o conformarse con su anodina existencia de policía.

An abandoned ship crashes into a dockyard in Brooklyn, New York, and the ship inspector, Silas Green, finds it full of corpses. Elsewhere, Julius Jones, Silas's nephew, has a run-in with some Italian mobsters. Just as the two goons are about to kill Julius, Maximillian, a vampire who arrived on the ship, intervenes and kills them. Maximillian infects Julius with his vampiric blood, thereby turning Julius into a decaying ghoul, and explains that he has come to Brooklyn in search of the Dhampir daughter of a vampire from his native Caribbean island in order to live beyond the night of the next full moon.

Nachdem ihr Versteck im Bermuda-Dreieck aufflog, wurden die dort lebenden Vampire ausgerottet. Nur einer überlebte: Maximilian. Per Schiff begibt er sich nach New York, um den letzten noch lebenden Stammesnachfahren zu finden. Als Assistenten engagiert der Fürst der Dunkelheit einen ausgeflippten Kriminellen. Bald stossen sie auf die Gesuchte: Polizistin Rita ahnt jedoch nicht, daß sie halb Mensch, halb Vampir ist - und daß Maximilian sie zur Vollblut-Untoten machen will, damit sie seine Kinder austrägt.
