After a long and rugged period of insecurity, the poor orphaned woman, Fani, sees her life take a turn for the better when she gets married to an affluent but workaholic civil engineer. However, before long, heavy clouds of mistrust will tarnish Fani's noble aspiration for a better future, as her husband becomes convinced that his young wife is cheating on him.
